Kick in the ass for decadent indian education

Today's news that foreign universities can set up shop in India is great news. Capitation fees and political muddling in Indian education will end. Oxford, Cambridge and other great institutions of learning now have an entry point. I don't have to go abroad to study. These centers of learning will come to my country. I have so many more options. The quality of education will improve by leaps and bounds. Especially when India is on the brink of an economic revolution, this intellectual revolution will oil the wheels of progress. I am 55 today, i only hope this had happened when i was 25! Nonetheless, our youth will benefit and even people like me can take a sabbatical in Santacruz (pun intended, and this Santacruz is in Mumbai not across the 7 seas) and emerge refreshed, rejuvenated and enlightened after a solid course here in India and get a degree from a foreign university. Is Nalanda listening?!
